Bryan J. Auchterlonie is an executive with more than 15 years’ experience in the traditional and non-traditional lodging sectors, with a particular emphasis on hospitality development in resort destinations. Prior to founding Destination Capital, Bryan served as an executive with leading destination club, Inspirato, where he led all portfolio and strategic growth initiatives. Bryan has extensive geographic experience in high-profile resort destinations throughout North America, the Caribbean and Europe, as well as product experience in short-term rentals, hotels and resorts, vacation clubs, fractional ownership clubs and mixed-use developments.
Prior to Inspirato, Bryan worked with leading investment banks, East-West Financial Services and Houlihan Lokey, where he advised industry-leading clients on a variety of assignments including mergers and acquisitions, valuation assessments, recapitalizations, divestitures and evaluation of strategic alternatives to both healthy and distressed companies. Bryan has closed more 30 transactions with an aggregate transaction value in excess of $5.0 billion.

Bryan received his B.A. from Kenyon College and his M.A. from the Johns Hopkins University’s School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS). Bryan is active in both Colorado and national Urban Land Institute (ULI) initiatives, where he serves as Vice Chairman for the Recreation Development Council.
